Reupholstery

Bring new life to your old furniture. Don't think that the only way to give a new look to your home is to buy new furniture that you will be paying for years to come. We are experienced in making old furniture feel like it is showroom new

Reupholstering: the best of both worlds.

If you want a new look but are afraid of new furniture because it might look good but feel uncomfortable well, reupholstering just might be what you need. It lets you bring new fabrics, colors and textures without replacing your furniture. Chairs and sofas which you already know are comfortable can be kept, but with a fresh new look. It also lets you repurpose furniture: change a good chair with a delicate white fabric to a kids room chair with some Sunbrella brand outdoor fabric or a sturdy chenille with frabric protectant.

Some people do not realize that reupholstering lets you keep your favorite furniture but fix those little annoyances that tempt you to throw them out. When we reupholster a piece, we can fix squeaks, raise cushions that were always too low, remove buttons you never liked or add the skirt to a sofa you always thought needed one. Add those little extras you always wished your furniture had, but thought you could only get by replacing them with something else. Getting a piece reupholstered can also be the time to add extra pillows to a sectional, upgrade a chair to Down filled cushions or cut a sofa down to a size that fits in your home.

And of course if you like your furniture exactly as it is, we'll be happy to repad and recover it and leave it looking exactly like it was when you brought it to us. Just better looking and more comfortable. And with an infinately larger choice in fabrics.

And reupholstery is a more enviromentally sound than buying new furniture. Many of the mass-market furniture is made cheaply and results in the owner throwing it all away when it is worn. Good quality, older furniture is built to last a lifetime, something you can give to your children to continue to enjoy. And of course, you are using the same wood frame, not causing another tree to be felled for a disposable piece of furniture.
